May I be an IN notary if I have a criminal record? 5 years 3 months ago #899

No. Indiana law prohibits a person from holding any office within the state, either by election or appointment, if the person has ever been convicted of any crime, where the sentence imposed exceeded six months. For additional information, you may wish to contact the Governor’s Office.
